Architecture Photography

SAMPLES

Architecture and man-made structures. Warmer brick, colder concrete or shimmering glass. Buildings in all their forms are a subject, which has on many occasions been an inspiration to me.

I am particularly fascinated by the narrow streets and historic buildings of European settlements. They form a very special contrast to the ultra-modern glass facades of 21st century cityscapes.
At the completely other end of the spectrum: brutalism. Sheer concrete meets simple, geometric structures.

The narrow entryway of an old house in Edinburgh

A cloudy sky is reflected in the glass facade of a house
